시놉시스

며칠 전 해직 통고서를 받은 철도청 소속 선로보수 노동자는 오늘, 늘 지급되는 빵과 우유를 가방에 넣고 마지막 근무에 나선다. 첩첩산중에 위치한 어느 기찻길. 자살을 결심한 노동자는 철길에 누워 열차가 오길 기다린다. 그때 커다란 낙석 하나가 철길 위로 떨어지고 선로에 목을 대고 누워있던 노동자는 달려오는 기차와 커다란 낙석 사이에서 웃지 못할 사투를 벌이기 시작한다.
The railroad maintenance worker on the National Railroad Administration, who received notice of dismissal from his work few days ago, goes to the final work with supplied bread and milk from the company today.
He meets a certain railroad in the heart of mountains rising one above another. The worker who decided killing himself waits for the train lying on the railroad. At that time, a big rockslide falls onto the railroad, the worker lying on the railroad starts to fight desperately between train which is coming and the big rockslide.

연출의도

빵과 우유는 환갑을 지나 이제 칠순을 바라보시는 아버지의 모습과 어느 날 기차를 타고 가다 우연히 보게 된 선로보수 노동자의 모습이 작품 전반에 투영되고 있다. 아버지는 노동자였다. 그러나 아버진 아직도 술로 빵과 우유를 대신하며 세월의 한 구석에서 이제 마지막 갈 길을 바라보고 있다. 부양해야 하는 가족에게 넉넉한 빵과 우유대신 살아감의 고통을 짐 지어주던 아버지... 작품 빵과 우유는 개인적인 시각으로 바라본 노동자의 단면적 일상일 수 있다. 하지만
Both my father, who was past his 60’s birthday and waits for the age of seventy, and a railroad maintenance worker, whom I see on the train by accident, are reflected in this film. My father was a worker. However, my father is waiting for his last-gasp drinking an alcohol as a substitute of bread and milk at the corner of the life.
There is a father who gave a burden of suffering to his family instead of enough bread and milk.
could be a diary of worker’s daily life from the perspective of my personal view. However, I want to leave a paradoxical message their pain never could be personal.
