시놉시스

순식간에 벌어진 끔찍한 사건 앞에 남겨지게 된 1406호 여자와 1405호 남자. 겁에 질려 불안해 하는 1405호 남자에게 1406호 여자는 조심스럽게 다가간다.
The girl and the guy are left after theterrible accident that just happened in an instant. The guy is scared and anxious, and the girl carefully walks towards him…. How will this odd and bizarre encounter end up?

연출의도

인간 본성에 대한 우리들의 오래된 고찰, 자고이래 성선설과 성악설이 첨예하게 대립하지만 한 가지는 확신한다. 인간은 모두 이기적인 존재라는 것. 성선과 성악 모두 이기의 각기 다른 발현일 뿐이다. 인간의 이기, 오롯이 자신의 쾌락과 행복만을 추구하는 본성을 본 작품을 통해 유쾌하게 그려내 보고 싶었다. 일생에서 단 하루도 마주치고 싶지 않은 끔찍한 상황을 오히려 가볍고 발랄하게 표현함으로써 더 묵직하게 사람들 뇌리에 남게 만드는 것. 그리고 그들로 하여금 인간의 본성에 대해 깊이 고민케 만드는 것. 이것이 내가 이번 작품을 연출하게 된 온전한 이유다.
Upon continuous contemplation on human nature, the two theories of the fundamental goodness and evilness of human nature have been ever so conflicting. However, one thing for certain is that humans are all egoistic beings. The goodness and evilness are just another manifestation of egoism.
The purpose of this film is to express and depict in a pleasant and enjoyable way human egoism and the human nature of wanting to solely pursue one’s pleasure and happiness. The aim is left a big impression of the message of the film in people’s minds by describing a horrific situation one would never even imagine coming across in life in rather a pleasant and non serious way. Enabling people to deeply contemplate on human nature itself through such way was my sole purpose of directing this film.
