시놉시스

자신만의 영화세계를 꿈꾸다, 어느덧 서른 살을 넘겨버린 조감독 성수. 단편영화제에서 발견한 감독 지망생 은지가 자신의 무료한 삶의 돌파구가 될 것으로 믿고 적극적으로 다가간다. 그녀와의 첫 데이트에서 앙겔로 플로스의 <비키퍼>를 보고 난 후 그 3년 째 모시고 있는 한국 멜로의 거장 차감독에 대해 악담을 털어 놓는 성수. 그런 성수의 기를 은근히 북돋아 주는 은지. 역시 난 이런 애를 위한 영화를 만들어야 해 라고 흐뭇해 하며 성수는 은지와 함께 술집으로 향하는데…….
Sung-Soo is a worn-out 30 year old assistant who works for a commercially renowned film director Cha. While his hopes and dreams seem to have run their courses, Sung-Soo comes across Eun-Jee, a beautiful, young aspiring filmmaker. Ever since he has laid his eyes on her, he is more than passionate about going after her. After seeing the film on their first date, he takes her to a restaurant and talks about Director Cha and his demeanor as a womanizer. He, then, heads to a bar where an unexpected surprise awaits.

연출의도

처음 만나는 남녀간의 대화, 권력을 가진 자와 피 권력자의 대화 속에서 그려지는 관계 맺음에 대한 이중성과 모호함을 말하고 싶었다. 또한 흔히 보여지는 술자리의 대화 연출에 중점을 두었다.
I wanted to portray the undesirable, pretentious nature of peolpe that are universally present regardless of age, profession. This story is told through dry, predictable nature of many encounters and conversations between people.
