시놉시스

조스는 여느 때와 다름없이 하루 일과를 시작한다. 프레젠테이션을 발표하는 중요한 날 이여서 그는 해내고 말겠다는 의지로 가득하다. 다행히도 프레젠테이션은 성공적으로 끝나 많은 관중들로부터 기립박수, 꽃 그리고 칭찬 등을 받게 된다. 조스는 집에 오는 길에 허기를 달랠 치킨과 감자튀김 그리고 성공적인 하루를 축하하기 위한 케이크를 사기 위해 상점에 들리게 되고 이는 큰 실수로 이어지게 되는데…
Jos starts his day like any other, with one difference: he has to give a presentation. This is a big day for Jos and he feels up to it. Fortunately, his presentation goes down well and he receives a standing ovation from the audience and flowers, compliments and a pat on the back from his manager. On his way home, Jos drops by a snackbar to buy fries, chicken and cake to celebrate – big mistake…

연출의도

영화 ‘성공’은 실화로 삶에서 아주 작은 부분이 결국 모든 것을 대변할 수 있다는 것을 보여준다. 갑작스럽게 다가온 소란스러움의 대처는 인간 존재의 가벼움에 철저히 반대되는 것으로 이 영화는 최후의 순간 앞에서 삶을 어떻게 헤쳐나가야 할 것인지에 대한 중요한 질문을 던지고 있다.
Based on a true story, Success zooms in on the small things in life in a way that makes it representative for all of us. Counterposing the turbulence of living against the lightness of being, this film asks important questions about how we move through life before ultimately taking leave of it.
