시놉시스

수줍음을 많이 타는 사진작가 사라는 최고의 스타인 영화배우 벤 딕슨의 사진을 찍게 된 것을 믿을 수가 없다. 그에게 푹 빠진 그녀는 미처 알아차리기도 전에 그의 침대에서 아침을 맞이한다. 그러나, 그에게 사라는 또 하나의 정복지일 뿐, 그는 신인 영화배우 크리스탈과 약혼한 사이! 그녀는 자신이 아는 유일한 방법으로 복수를 계획한다. 사라, 카메라를 들고 출동!
Sarah, a shy young photographer, can''t believe her luck when she''s hired to take pictures of Ben Dixon, the hottest young movie star on the scene. She can''t help but fall head over heels for him, and before she knows it she''s waking up with him in her bed. But to him, Sarah''s just another notch in his bedpost. When he heartlessly dumps her she finds out he''s already engaged to beautiful movie starlet Crystal, and she''s devastated. Finally, she resolves to take her revenge, the only way she knows how. She grabs her camera and heads to Dixon''s latest celebrity bash for an explosive showdown!

연출의도

이 영화는 모든 효과의 초점이 ‘카메라’에 있다. 하나의 스톱모션 애니메이션을 만든 후, 그 모든 프레임을 사진으로 인쇄하고, 그리고 나서 다시 인물이 그 사진을 보고있는 두 번째 애니메이션을 만들었다. 이러한 방식을 계속 반복한다는 것은 영화를 아주 정밀하게 계획된 순서대로 찍어야 한다는 것을 의미했다. 후반작업이 가장 큰 도전이었다. 몇 천 개의 프레임을 일일이 포토샵 해야 했다. 제작에 1년 정도의 시간이 걸렸다-발전단계, 전반제작, 촬영, 후반작업에 각각 3개월 정도의 시간이 걸렸다.
The idea was to do all the effects ‘on camera’. We would make one stop-motion animation; then print every frame of that onto photo paper; then make a second animation of a character looking at the photo ? in each frame of this, the photo is replaced with the next one on the pile. This meant the film had to be shot in a very specific order. Post was the biggest challenge: thousands of frames had to be photoshopped by hand. Production took about a year ? three months each for development, prep, shoot and post.
