시놉시스

입양기관에 종사하는 소연. 인터넷에서 주문한 딸의 옷이 인터넷에서 본 것과 색상이 달라 전화로 환불을 요청하지만 거절당한다. 그리고 연달아 걸려온, 입양한 아이를 다시 데려가 달라는 (파양) 중년여성의 전화를 받게 된다. 소연이 파양을 막고자 대인이의 집을 방문하는 것과 동시에 인터넷 쇼핑몰 업체와 환불문제로 실갱이하는 내용이 엮여서 진행된다.
Soyun works at an adoption institution. She calls up the online store’s customer center where she bought a dress for her daughter for a refund because the color of the actual dress is totally different from what she saw on the website. However, the request for a refund is rejected. And a phone call comes in right after she hangs up the phone. A middle-aged woman on the other end of the line asks Soyun to take the adopted child back. Soyun, in order to prevent the cancellation of adoption, visits Daein’s house and at the same time she gets into an argument with the internet shopping mall regarding the refund.

연출의도

입양제도가 부모위주의 제도로 자리잡아있는 우리나라의 현실이 안타까웠다. 입양제도는 아동에게 건강한 가정에서 양육되어야 할 권리를 보장해주는 제도가 되어야 한다고 생각한다. 아이는 금전적으로 거래되는 물건(상품)이 아니다. 입양홍보물에 자주 등장하는 문구처럼 ‘입양은 가정이 필요한 아이들에게 가정을 선물해주는..’ 제도가 되어야 한다. ‘아이가 필요한 부모에게 아이를 선물해주는’ 것이 아니라는 것이다.
The adoption system should be arranged so that the child is provided with an environment where he/she can be nurtured properly and this right for children should be guaranteed through the creation of a relevant system. A child should not be treated as a product that is exchanged for a commercial value. As it is often expressed in promotional materials for adoption, adoption should not be ‘a gift to parents who need a child’, but it should be ‘a gift of family to a child, who needs a family,’
