시놉시스

소라와 민주와 웅이는 늘 그렇듯, 오늘도 숨바꼭질을 하며 재미있게 놀고 있다. 근데 오늘따라 웅이를 찾기가 힘들다. 오늘은 아무리 ‘못 찾겠다 꾀꼬리’를 외쳐도 웅이가 나타나지 않는다. 소라는 웅이네 집으로 향하려고 하는데 어른들은 자꾸만 못 가게 한다. 이해할 수 없는 어른들 몰래 소라와 웅이는 밤새 재밌게 논다. 하지만 아침이 되면... 두려웠던 현실이 소라를 기다리고......
So-Ra, Min-Ju and Woong are playing hide and seek, but Woong is nowhere to be found. So-Ra and Min-Ju go to Woong’s house to look for him, but the grown-ups stop them. So-Ra is unable to understand the actions of the adults. After all, So-Ra runs to Woong left alone in a dark room. And they spend the night playing fun. But in the morning So-Ra faces the fearful reality.

연출의도

서울의 마지막 판자촌, 구룡마을. 그 곳에 살고 있는 8살짜리 꼬마아이 ‘소라’. 소라는 자고 일어나면 사라지는 사람들이 궁금하기만 하다. 어디로 간 걸까? 그 사람들과는 상관없이 오늘도 무덤덤하게 하루를 살아내고 있는 구룡마을 사람들. 하지만, 소라에게는 그렇게 간단한 문제가 아니다. 이번엔 소라의 단짝친구, 웅이가 사라졌기 때문이다. 적나라한 현실. 아이들은 어떻게 이 문제를 마주할까? 또 어떻게 기억해낼까?
It's the last shanty town in the capital. Anybody can hide between narrow streets and trash heaps. At once, nobody knows where someone has gone. This poorest town is playground to the children, and at once it's unacceptable reality.
