시놉시스

빠리, 1962. 한 과학자가 자신을 강아지로 바꾸는 세럼을 만들게 된다. 하지만 다시 사람으로 돌아올때 문제들이 발생되는데…
Paris, 1962. A scientist formulates a serum that changes him into a dog. It's only when he changes back to a human that his troubles begin.

연출의도

먼저, 강아지의 삶은 자신을 강아지로 변하게 한 어떤 프랑스 과학자의 이야기이다. 하지만 그것은 1962년 크리스 마커의 단편 ‘La Jétee’에 대한 나의 경의도 들어있다. ‘La Jétee’ 에서 처럼, 나의 스토리는 흑백 스틸 사진들을 사용하여 거의 모든 이야기를 하고 있다. 나레이터가 이야기를 표현하고 있다.
‘La Vie d’un Chien’ (‘The Life of a Dog’) is, first of all, the story of a French scientist who turns himself into a dog. But it’s also my homage to Chris Marker’s classic 1962 short, ‘La Jétee.’ Like ‘La Jétee,’ my story is told almost entirely through the use of black-and-white still photos. A narrator voices the story – in French, naturellement.
