시놉시스

“회상은 숨겨진 소망의 또 다른 이름이다.” 진에 대한 기억들은 오랜 시간 마리를 떠나지 않고 머물러 있다. 매일 밤, 마리는 그녀의 기억으로부터 치유되지 못한 비밀을 다시, 그리고 또 다시 보게 된다. 하룻밤의 꿈을 통해 마리는 고통스런 기억으로부터 자유로워지지만... 그 또한 단 하루만의 도피일 뿐....
"Memory believes before knowing remembers." Memories of Jean have never left Mari for a long time. Each night, Mari revisits her memories and re-encounters a painful secret that has prolonged to be healed. Through this psychological journey to her inner world, Mari finds a way to forgive herself for one night.

연출의도

기억의 본질에 대해서 이야기하고 싶었다. 우리가 기억하는 것들이 사실은 지극히 이기적이고 자기중심적이라는 것… 결국 기억이 진실로부터 멀리 떨어진 자기용서와 자위의 도구가 될 수도 있다는 것...또 한 가지, 사람 사이의 의사소통은 결코 언어로만 이루어지는 것이 아니라는 점...
Through Mari's experience, I wanted to explore two things. One is the essence of memory: we constantly choose what to remember and what not for each piece of personal history. Some memories will bring you joy, and some will bring you grief. But what is it that stays with you forever? How do you deal with the memory that prolongs healing? I also wanted to observe what language means between two people who long for each other's presence but simply are not able to communicate the emotion through words. Sometimes verbal language isn't only way to express yourself to others.
