시놉시스

사라는 공원에서 원조교제 상대인 태섭을 만나고 그를 증오한다. 하지만 사채업자 믹에게서 그녀를 구해 준 후, 사라는 태섭에게 마음을 열기 시작하고 그들은 예견되지 못한 결말을 향한다.
Sarah, a teenage online prostitute, meets her client, Tae-Sub, at the park. She at first abhors him, but after he saves her from the loanshark, Mick, Sarah opens her mind to Tae-Sub and they head toward an unexpected ending.

연출의도

사랑받지 못하는 두 사람이 서로에게 마음을 열어가는 과정을 보여주려한 작품이다. 여기서 그들은 서로를 판단할 수 있는 입장이지만, 그러지 않는다.
In “By My Side Tonight”, I tried to show the process of two people, who were never loved by anyone else before, getting to know each other and building a relationship. Even though they are both in the position to judge each other, they do not do so.
