시놉시스

가리봉 쪽방에서 살던 선화는 회사 이전으로 가리봉을 떠나게 된다. 이사짐을 옮기면서 선화의 소중한 장롱이 부서지고, 선화는 속이 상한다. 임신한 친구의 배웅을 받으며 애환이 깃든 가리봉을 떠난다.
Sun-hwa has to leave Garibong-dong when her company moves to another location.
The move distresses her, and she becomes especially upset when her small, worn but cherished chest of drawers breaks in the process. Sun-Hwa departs Garibong-dong with a combination of joy and sorrow and says goodbye to her pregnant friend.

연출의도

가리봉에서 피땀 흘렸던 수많은 선화(노동자)들의 애환이 밀리고 밀려서 그냥 사라지는 것만 같다.
His sad to see all the people like Sun-Hwa who cried and cheered in Garibong to be pushed out of there and just disappear off the face of the earth.
