시놉시스

한번 돈 벌어 잘 살아보려는 굴뚝 같은 욕심에 공무원 생활도 때려치우고 타국땅을 밟게 된 종민. 처음엔 타국땅에서 5,6년씩 둥지를 틀고 매일매일 뽕짝인생을 보내고 있는 친구들의 삶을 보고 한심해하고 심지어 비웃기까지 하던 그가 어느새 자신의 의지와는 상반되게 친구들처럼 변하게 되는데…
Jong-Min quit his work as a public service agent and came to Korea to make money. At first, he thought his friends are pathetic as he saw them wasting 5-6 years in Korea, idling with drinks and girls and spending money day by day. He used to look down on them and even laughed at them, but he has become just like them, against his will.

연출의도

지금 우리 주위를 살펴보면 이런 저런 원인으로 사랑하는 아내 혹은 남편을 떠나서 오랫동안 홀로 타지에 와서 외롭고 고독하게 생활하고 있는 사람들이 많다. 그들을 놓고 보면 가족의 그리움도 그리움이겠지만 힘든 것은 (물론 절대적이라고는 말할 수는 없지만) 건강한 인간들이 가지고 있는 동물적인 욕구(性)을 어떤 방식으로 해소하느냐 하는 것이다. 이를테면 외도? 불법동거? 자위? 아니면…
We see a lot of people live far away from their husband or wife, and live in loneliness because of various reasons. Of course they miss their family, but the most difficult problem for them(though it may not be the ultimate one) is the sexual instinct any human beings have. How can they, or should they satisfy that needs? Having an affair? Masturbation? Or…?
