시놉시스

캐라가 죽은 후 롤랜드는 끊임없는 정신적 방황을 거듭한다. 끊임없이 롤랜드의 머리 속을 헤집어 오는 캐라에 대한 추억의 편린들.
Roland keeps emotionally wandering ever since Kara died. The fragments of Kara’s memories tear up Roland’s head.

연출의도

악몽 혹은 몽환과도 같은 현실, 그리고 현실처럼 너무도 생생한 과거의 기억들. 작품의 전체 의도는 이 한 문장으로 표현될 수 있다. 따라서 이 작품에 있어서 모든 카메라 움직임, 앵글, 조명 등은 자신이 너무나 사랑했기에 죽음과 같은 절망의 어둠에 갇혀 있는 자신의 여자를 죽이고만 롤랜드의 정신적 방황을 영상적으로 형상화하는데 모든 초점이 맞추어 졌다.
The realities just like nightmares or fantasies, and the past memories so fresh and vivid like realities. This film’s intention can be expressed with this phrase. Therefore, all the camera movements, angles, lightings are focused on visualizing the mental wandering of Roland, who loved his woman so much and kill her in order to save her from the death-like darkness of despair.
