시놉시스

인적이 드문 밤 파출소에 본인의 실종신고를 하는 남자가 있다. 혼자 남아 있던 어느 순간부터 시작되는 그의 기억. 작은 단서라도 찾아보려 애를 쓰지만 아무 소용이 없다. 용기를 내어 밖으로 나간 남자, 동네 편의점에서 자신을 아는 것 같은 여직원을 만난다. 그리고 다시 그녀를 찾아갔을 때 그녀는 떠나고 없다. 이제 그는 편지를 쓴다. 어디선가 자신을 기억하고 있을 누군가를 향해.
In the midnight, a man reports a disappearance of himself to the police office. His memory begins at the moment when he is left alone in an apartment. He tries to find any clue as to who he might be, but nothing comes out. When he plucks up the courage to go out, he meets a girl at a convenience store, who seems to know him. However, she disappears when he goes back to the store. Now he starts to write a letter to someone who may remember him somewhere in the world.

연출의도

우리는 모두 누군가의 아들, 딸이며 친구이고 남편이거나 아내이기도 하지만 종종 주위에 아무도 없다고 느낀다. 나만 그렇게 어리석은 게 아니라는 위로가 되는 영화를 만들고 싶었다.
We are all someone’s son or daughter, and also someone’s friend, husband or wife. Still, we feel that there is no one around us. I hope this film will give a comfort to the audience that they are not the only ones who feel foolish.
