시놉시스

80년대, 도시 변두리 구멍가게 아들 ‘현수’는 엄마가 함께 놀지 못하게 하는 ‘선표’와 친해진다.
사실 선표는 다른 아이들과 다를 것 없는 착한 아이지만 고아라는 선입견 때문에 문제아란 딱지가 붙어 동네 사람들의 핍박을 받는다. 현수와 선표의 우정이 깊어가던 어느 날, 둘이 어울리는 것을 눈치 챈 엄마는 현수를 집으로 데려오고 선표는 홀연히 사라진다.
In the 80s, Hyun-su lives with his mom who runs a small store in the outskirts of the city. He hangs out with Sunp-yo whom Hyun-su´s mom does not like. As a matter of fact, Sun-pyo is an innocent kid who is not different from other kids in the town. However, people in the town do not treat him well because he is an orphan and lives in a humble place. One day, when Hyun-su´s mom notices that Hyun-su and Sun-pyo hang out again, she brings her son to her store. From that day on, Sun-pyo disappears from the town.

연출의도

부모는 현실불안을 이용해 아이를 교육한다. 그리고 때로는 자신들이 애써 정당화해버린 모순들도 함께 가르친다. 이는 가정에만 국한되지 않은 우리 사회에 대한 은유라고 생각했다.
Sometimes, parents use the anxiety of the reality in order to educate their children.
At the same time, they also teach some inconsistency which is created and verified by themselves to their children. This kind of moral collision happens not only between parents and their children but also the nation and its people.
