시놉시스

메이시와 야기는 이웃을 돌아다니면서 문제를 일으키며 심심함을 때우는 편안한 친구사이이다. 하지만 야기는 문제를 너무 크게 만들고 그것은 그에게 중요한 교훈을 배우게 해 준다.
Maishee and Yaggi are friends of convenience, filling their ennui with acts of mischief throughout the neighborhood. When Yaggi pushes too far, he learns a valuable lesson.

연출의도

이 프로젝트는 원래 뉴욕대학원 제작과 드라마 글쓰기 프로그램의 합작 작품중에 하나이다. 작가 앤디 로스와 대화중에, 십대의 문제 일으키는 행동들과 또한 얻은 교훈에 대해 공통 관심사를 발견했다. 앤디는 1960년 브루클린 유대인 동네에서 자랐던 경험을 바탕으로 시나리오를 썼다. 결말은 한 아이의 잘못된 행동이 자신의 친구의 죽음을 부르게 하고 이 모든 것은 할로윈 전야에 벌어지게 된다.
This project was originally part of collaboration between students in Tisch’s Film Production and Dramatic Writing Programs. In my discussions with writer Andy Roth, we discovered a common interest in adolescent angst and lessons learned from it. In writing the script, Andy drew upon childhood experiences growing up in an ethnically Jewish Brooklyn neighborhood in the 1960s. The final story is about a kid’s mischief influencing the demise of his friend, loosely set during pre-Halloween ‘Mischief Night.’
