시놉시스

늦은 밤, 학교에서 ‘강민’, ‘깔깔이’, ‘딸딸이’라는 별명을 가진 아이들이, ‘좆만이’ 라는 별명을 가진 한 아이를 괴롭히면서 장난스러운 심부름을 시킨다. 좆만이는 그들에 부탁을 들어주게 되고, 또 하나의 자기 자신을 만나면서 혼란과 공포 빠져든다.
It is a late night at school. Some kids harass a student and send him on an errand. Completely alone in the building, he meets his other self, falling into confusion and horror.

연출의도

영화를 속임수와 몽환적인 이야기로서 구경거리로 만든 것은 G. 메리에스였다. 여기에는 영상기술미학에 대한 끝없는 노력이 담겨있다. 전작 정서적 싸움의 두 번째 이야기 ‘자위적 싸움’ 또한 자체적으로 카메라를 조립 제작하여 “무서워하지 마! 포기하지 마! 타협하지 마! 세상에서 가장 두려운 적은 자기 자신이며, 그것을 결정하는 것 또한 너의 자신이다.” 라는 주제를 가지고 조금 더 다른 속임수와 몽환적인 이야기를 표현하려고 노력했다.
It was Georges Melies who made cinema as the spectacle of deceptions and dreamlike stories. And he was followed by many as the model for cinema technology and aesthetics. With a self-made camera, ‘The Affective Struggle 2 - The Battle of Life’ tried to follow this tradition with somewhat different methods. It tells, “Don't be afraid! Don't give up and don't compromise! The most fearful enemy in the world is none other than yourself, and it is up to you to be so.”
