시놉시스

가을의 나날들 속에서 당신은 살아갈때, 때때로 잃어버렸던 미소를 다시 찾기위해 어떤 것이든 시도할 것이다. 두명의 연금받고 사는 노인들은 잊혀져 가버린 사랑에 다시 불을 지피려 노력하는데…
Sometimes, when you're in the autumn of your days, you'll try anything to put a smile on your face again. Two pensioners who manage to re-ignite the love they'd almost forgotten about.

연출의도

그는 단편영화에 평소에 영화에 열정을 가지고 있다 2004년 영국 Big Chill Festival의 시네마 텐트의 개막식을 위해 단편과 광고 그리고 영화 클립들을 큐레이트하였다. 여러가지 이유가 있지만 대체적으로 늙은 사람들은 반항을 한다거나 사랑을 하는 것에 드문 점에 대해 그는 이 영화를 꼭 만들고 싶어했다.
He has always been passionate about films, and in 2004 curated an evening of short films, commercials and movie clips in the inaugural Cinema Tent at the Big Chill Festival in the UK. He badly wanted to make ‘Wednesdays’ because, among other reasons, older people rarely get to be rebels or lovers.
